RubberDucks and New Balance Future Stars Series Partner for Akron RubberDucks Amateur Scout Day

(AKRON, OHIO) January 28, 2023 – The Akron RubberDucks and New Balance Future Stars Series have partnered to create Akron RubberDucks Amateur Scout Day. The event will take place on Feb. 4, 2023 at D-Bat North Canton.

New Balance Future Stars Series Scout Day is a series of events run all over the country by some of the most successful organizations in the country.

The Akron RubberDucks Amateur Scout Day will be held from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and each player will receive a New Balance t-shirt and hat. New Balance Future Stars will create a full scouting report for each participating player at scout day.

“We are excited to partner with New Balance Future Stars to bring a scout day to Northeast Ohio,” RubberDucks Director of Amateur Baseball Development Roy Jacobs said. “This an amazing opportunity for some of the top talent in the area to receive great instruction and exposure. Some of the best players in baseball including former RubberDucks Bo Naylor and Daniel Espino have participated in scout day events, and we can’t wait to potentially see some future RubberDucks at D-Bat North Canton in February.”

The Akron RubberDucks are the Double-A affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians.
