Jeff Jurgella joined Gateway Professional Baseball and the Beloit Snappers as team president in 2021. Jurgella's career has spanned more than 25 years in professional sports in the Midwest, including more than a decade at the Major League level in the Minnesota Twins front office.

“Drew Olstead joins Gateway Professional Baseball and the Beloit Snappers in his first season as Vice President of Sales. He is a Beloit, WI native, and a graduate of F.J. Turner High School and University of Wisconsin – Madison. His last stop was with the Chicago Cubs where he spent the last three seasons as a Business Development Executive.

Valentyn, a Milwaukee area native, joins the team as the VP - Marketing & Strategy, after spending the last four years out East in marketing roles within Minor League Baseball, including the last two as Director of Sponsorship Services with the Lehigh Iron Pigs, the Phillies’ AAA affiliate. Maria graduated with honors from Saint Michael’s College (VT) with a Business Administration degree, while minoring in Economics and History. She enjoys biking, playing golf, reading, and skiing in her free time.

Nathan started with the organization as a Sales Executive in August 2021. Previously, he worked for the Lakeshore Chinooks as a Ticket and Marketing Sales Intern. Nathan is a Kenosha, Wisconsin native where he graduated with his Master of Science in Sports Management from Carthage College. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors, watching the Chicago Bears, and snowboarding.

Dan Gill joined Beloit in August of 2021 as the Sales Executive. Originally from Eldersburg, MD, Dan graduated from Towson University with a degree in Sport Management. He began his career in sports with the Baltimore Orioles as Event Staff and S.A.F.E. Management as Operations Assistant, followed by becoming the Director of Ticket Operations for the Baltimore Blast (MASL) before joining Beloit.

In his free time, Dan enjoys being outdoors, playing various sports and traveling. He is an avid fan of the Baltimore Orioles, Washington Capitals, and Green Bay Packers.

Creative Services

Sam Cohen is entering his first season as the Creative Services Manager for the Beloit Snappers.

Cohen spent the 2019 season with the Snappers assisting with graphics and social media. He spent the last season with the Tusla Drillers - AA of the Dodgers in Oklahoma as the Video Production assistant. Finally, Cohen is a native of Darlington, Wisconsin

Gracey McDonald joined the Beloit Snappers in September of 2021 as the Event Sales Manager. A native of Pensacola, Florida, Gracey attended the University of West Florida and graduated with a degree in hospitality and resort management and a minor in sports management. She began her career with the Pensacola Blue Wahoos in 2019 as the Season Ticket Member Concierge, then shifted to manage 5eleven Palafox, a local wedding venue in Pensacola, FL. In her free time, you can find Gracey with her two dogs or spending time in beautiful downtown Beloit.

Ballpark Operations

Ben St. Peter is entering his first season as Operations Manager for Beloit. He graduated from Marquette University where he majored in Marketing and spent his time working in the athletic department as an intern.

Growing up in Minneapolis, MN, Ben is an avid fan of Minnesota sports, the Green Bay Packers, and Marquette basketball. He loves to travel, spend time with family/friends, as well as playing golf.

Originally from Oregon, Illinois. Jaymeson graduated from Oregon High School. After high school he went to Sauk Valley College where he played one year of baseball and studied Criminal Justice. After his freshman year of college, He decided to join the military (Army) where he spent 8 years in the service from 2003-2011. Jaymeson did two tours in Iraq and one in Korea. During his time in the service, he received and awarded the CIB (Combat Infantryman badge) and the Purple Heart. After his time in the service, he moved to Missouri where he work in the DOC as Correctional Officer and a Rec. Officer for two years before moving back home to Illinois. Once moving back home he went on to Kishwaukee College and studied Sports Turf management. He started with the Village of Davis Junction where he was apart of the parks department where they won the Field of the year for the state of Illinois (STMA). In 2016 Jaymeson went on to intern with the Milwaukee Brewers after his year with the Brewers, he became the Head Groundskeeper for Beloit (2017). In 2018 he went on and took a job with Midwest Athletic Fields as a labor worker. During the fall/winter of 2018 Jaymeson took a position with Belvidere School district as the Supervisor of Grounds. During his time with the school district Jaymeson and his crew won the Field of the Year for Illinois (STMA). In the spring of 2020, he became the Assistant Superintendent for Crystal Tree Golf and Country Club. In the spring of 2021 Jaymeson decided to come back to baseball and be apart of Beloit again as the Head Groundskeeper. When away from the ballpark, he enjoys spending time with family, hitting the golf links and going to sporting events.

Merchandise and Community Relations

Bob Villarreal is entering his first season as Food & Beverage/ Operations Manager for the Beloit Snappers. This is his third season overall with the Snappers serving his first two as Field Emcee, as well as assisting in all other facets of the ball club. He's spent the last 23 years in retail management around the Rockford, IL area and is also a local high school public address announcer.

Villarreal is a graduate of Kishwaukee College in Malta, IL, where he studied Massage Therapy and Business Management.

A native of Chicago, IL, Bob is an avid fan of the the Notre Dame Fightin' Irish and Chicago Bears. In his downtime he also enjoys writing, podcasting, and adventuring out into the world with his two children.

Food & Beverage

Blair Schmitz brings his passion for ballpark fare to ABC Supply Stadium as general manager of food and beverage operations, where he builds the ultimate fan experience through food and drink. Blair oversees Geronimo Hospitality Group’s four concession concepts along with catering for the stadium’s two unique party decks and other event spaces. Infusing community into the cuisine, he facilitates ongoing partnerships to bring local vendors, food trucks and non-profit organizations to the ballpark. Blair’s 20+ years of food and beverage experience include multiple roles at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as general manager of suites and clubs and assistant food and beverage director at Camp Randall and The Kohl Center. He hopes ABC Supply Stadium and all its amenities will connect the community, create lasting memories for families and contribute to the rebuilding of the city of Beloit.
