We are beyond excited to be back and opening the gates at Day Air Ballpark to welcome fans, baseball, and more after a 20-month absence. Welcome back!

Moving forward after a pandemic, we had to focus our attention and efforts on creating a CLEAN and SAFE environment for any guest coming to the ballpark. By consulting and collaborating with health experts, embracing new technologies, and overhauling previous ballpark standards, we believe we have done just that.

COVID POLICIES AND STADIUM CLEANLINESS

Guest Health & Hygiene

GUEST HEALTH PROMISE

As the date of your event arrives, we ask that each guest commits to our guest health promise. It simply says you will not come to the ballpark if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms (listed below) or believe you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19.

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

Committing to the guest health promise also means adhering to all policies and procedures the Dayton Dragons have implemented to keep you and other guests safe at the ballpark.

REVIEW YOUR RISK:

Please note the CDC advises that older adults and people with serious underlying medical conditions might be at a higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19. Guests should evaluate their risk in determining whether to attend an event at Day Air Ballpark.

NOT COMFORTABLE?

We understand these times will leave some fans uncomfortable attending public events right away. So, if you are not comfortable attending your event, just give us a call and we will help transfer your tickets to a later date when you are ready.

  • SIGNAGE: Around the ballpark will be lots of new signage. These are some of the signs you will see:

Stadium Cleanliness at Day Air Ballpark

Our goal was to make Day Air Ballpark clean and safe for all guests. In preparation for you, we have installed or implemented the following changes…

  • Over 100 hand sanitizers located throughout the ballpark.
  • Plexiglass at each and every customer service interface location and between suites on club level.
  • Added higher grade air filters, increased air flow from outside to inside locations, and introduced iWave technology to all airducts leading into ballpark areas.
  • Our cleaning company is utilizing GERMSTOP applications to all ballpark areas. The antimicrobial technology treats surfaces and protects for 30 days to prevent the spread of germs.
  • Additional staff to keep all high usage touchpoints cleaned throughout the entire event.

Technology & The Digital World

Creating a contact free experience was essential in keeping guests safe while at the ballpark. To ensure your safety, we have…

  • Installed a “5G level” WIFI System to support new technology and key safety features of the guest experience.
  • Created a new official Dayton Dragons app available for download on all smart phone devices. Download the app at the Apple or Google Play Store.
  • Introduced a customer friendly and easy to use digital ticketing approach.
  • Improved game day program PlayBall!. You will be able to connect to an all-digital version of this game day stable. Its engaging, interactive, informative, and SAFE!
  • GONE CASHLESS! New point-of-sale systems around the ballpark in our concessions and retail store, the Dragons Den. These sales will no longer require guests to handle money.
  • Our community fundraising program known as the 50/50 raffle will also be touchless and ONLINE!
  • Upgraded technologies for even our game day staff who can now ‘clock in’ each game in a touchless fashion using their phones. The zero-touch experience is a critical strategy for our entire team.

Concessions

SAFETY CHANGES – Our concession will look a little different as you make your way around the ballpark. Pay attention to signage at concessions as there are designated lines for entry and exit. Condiments and silverware will now be individually packaged, and there will be no in-seat vending for the 2021 season. Water fountains will also not be accessible this year.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Are masks required? According to the CDC, masks are recommended for vaccinated and non-vaccinated individuals while indoors. At Day Air Ballpark, masks are highly recommended for all guests while at the ballpark as we are a mass gathering location. Again, masks are not required, but strongly recommended.
  • What if I only have cash? Because we are a cashless facility now, we do not accept cash at the following locations: Dragons Box Office, Concessions, and Dragons Den Team Store. If you need to exchange your cash for a gift card, see a representative at the Dragons Box Office or in the Dragons Den Team Store.
  • When will gates open? Gates will open one (1) hour prior to game time.
  • What if I start to feel sick and I have tickets to a game? If you start to feel sick, please do not come to Day Air Ballpark. Contact your ticketing representative or email [email protected] to find a better alternative. We will be happy to have you back out to the ballpark when you feel better!
  • How will I receive my tickets? We have introduced digital tickets this season. You will be able to access your digital tickets in your Dragons Account Manager. Find information on how to access and transfer your digital tickets at www.daytondragons.com/digitaltickets.
  • When and how can I purchase tickets? You can purchase tickets anytime by calling the Dragons Box Office at 937-228-2287.
  • Can I bring my bag to the ballpark? Backpacks are not allowed at Day Air Ballpark. However, you are welcome to bring a small purse, a diaper bag, or a small medical bag, as needed.
