Every year, families in the local community open up their homes for the summer to house the players of the Everett AquaSox. Players come from all over the world to chase their dreams of playing in the Major Leagues, and one of their first stops is in Everett. Making the players feel at home helps make the transition easier for them on and off the field.
We have Host Families that have participated for more than ten years, created life-long relationships, and love helping players begin their professional baseball journey. Additionally, all Host Families receive tickets to every AquaSox home game and a stipend from the player(s).
We have had Spanish speaking players from Venezuela, the Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico. If hosting Spanish speaking players is of any interest, please mark that on the application.
