(SUGAR LAND, Texas) – For the first time as the Sugar Land Space Cowboys, there was a walk-off win at Constellation Field.

David Hensley provided the game-winning hit, delivering an RBI single in the 11th to give the Space Cowboys a 5-4 victory over the Albuquerque Isotopes.

Hensley’s walk-off was part of a four-RBI night, which also included a go-ahead three-run homer in the sixth. It was fourth homer of the year and left his bat at 104.9 mph.

The three-run shot from Hensley put the Space Cowboys up 4-3 before Coco Montes tied the game in the fifth with a solo home run.

Albuquerque nearly took the lead in its half of the 11th. Carlos Perez flew out to center fielder Pedro León. Ryan Vilade attempted to tag up from third but was thrown out by several feet on a 98.8 mph throw from León.

León was intentionally walked by Reagan Todd to load the bases for Hensley, who lined the first pitch he saw up the middle for the game-winning knock.

Jake Meyers and Taylor Jones continued their MLB Rehab Assignments on Sunday. Meyers hit second and started in center field and Jones hit third, starting in left field. Both came around to score on Hensley’s three-run homer in the sixth. Meyers finished 0-for-2 with a walk and Jones finished 1-for-2.

JP France got the start and matched his season high with eight strikeouts, allowing three runs without surrendering a walk through 5 2/3 innings.

Josh James, Enoli Paredes and Ronel Blanco combined to throw four scoreless innings to finish out the game, striking out a combined four batters. Blanco received the winning decision, navigating scoreless 10th and 11th innings.

The Space Cowboys are off on Monday and will then travel to Oklahoma City for a three-game series, beginning at 7:05 p.m. on Tuesday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
